MICRONAUT-UR - semi-automated microbiology
The MICRONAUT-UR system from MERLIN for pathogen identification (ID) and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) using the broth microdilution method in the microbiological laboratory is the standard method according to EUCAST for dilution procedures and enables the testing of several practice-relevant antibiotics that are no longer testable by agar diffusion.
Even small practice laboratories with only a few antibiograms can find a genuine alternative to manual multi-test strips and answers to the limitations of agar diffusion with MICRONAUT. The MICRONAUT system is rounded off by user-friendly software that takes into account the latest EUCAST standards (breakpoints).
Basic antibiogram and extended antibiogram, quality assurance and pathogen statistics, taking into account EBM, the quality assurance agreement (KBV-QSV) and the RiliBÄK requirements for internal and external quality controls, are significantly reduced in their complexity. The possibility of integration into many common practice software systems is self-evident. We would be happy to advise you and your team on whether the MICRONAUT system could be a diagnostically and economically valuable option for you.
