Eye test charts

The sooner vision defects are detected, the better. For this purpose, vision charts are available for determining visual acuity (visus) with various optotypes.

In addition to letters and numbers, the standardized Landolt rings, E-hooks (Snellen), and LEA symbols have become established.
To determine an innate color vision deficiency, the Ishihara color tests or Color DX can be used. They are available in different versions for children, adults, and illiterates.
Early strabismus or microstrabismus can be easily detected with the Lang I or Lang II stereotest.

More detailed information on the various vision test charts can be found in the respective product description; an overview of the portfolio is available here.
