This electronic pipette combines the proven features of mechanical, piston-operated air displacement pipettes with the advantages of an electronic device.
The 8-channel pipette allows for easy pipetting, reverse pipetting, mixing, and multi-dispensing, and is also suitable for gel electrophoresis up to a volume of 300 µl. Thanks to the simple calibration technique, the pipette can be adjusted quickly and easily without the need for tools. The pipette shaft is detachable and fully autoclavable (121 °C). The operating temperature of the device and reagent must be between +15 °C and +40 °C (59 °F to 104 °F); different temperatures are available upon request. The permissible vapor pressure is up to 500 mbar. The maximum viscosity of the media to be processed is 260 mPa·s. For viscous media, the pipetting speed can be adjusted.
This 8-channel pipette is suitable for plate loading in the MICRONAUT system.
