MICRONAUT-S ß-Lactamases (40 plates)
The MICRONAUT-S beta-Lactamases plates for the microbroth dilution method allow for reliable confirmation of multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria and the characterization of their resistance mechanisms (cf: EBM 32774: extended antibiogram of Gram-negative bacteria)
The following tests are included:
(1) ESBL confirmation test with cefepime, ceftazidime, cefotaxime - each +/- clavulanic acid
(2) AMP-C confirmation test with ceftazidime, cefotaxime - each +/- 3-APB
(3) KPC confirmation test with meropenem +/- 3-APB
(4) MBL confirmation test with meropenem +/- EDTA
(5) Oxa48 like D-Carbapenemase /D-Carbapenemase confirmation test with ertapenem, meropenem, temocillin

Storage: dry, protected from light at 15-25°C
Additionally required medium: Mueller Hinton Broth (Cation-adjusted)
