L-shaped spreaders are ideal for evenly distributing bacterial cultures onto agar in petri dishes. The L-shape allows application to the entire surface of the agar in the plate or petri dish. The smooth spreading surface with a slightly upward slope reduces the risk of damaging the agar. Spreaders are manufactured from high-impact Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS). These spreaders are supplied sterile in individual peel packs, eliminating the need for flaming or autoclaving.
