The Pneumotrac™ with RMS (Respiratory Muscle Strength) is a PC-based system that combines measurements of respiratory muscle strength and spirometry. It thus combines several testing options in a single device that is as mobile as your laptop. It is suitable for various applications and can be used in combination with a laptop, for example, in examination rooms in clinics or on a trolley right next to the hospital bed.
In addition to detailed spirometry tests, it allows easy measurement of oral and nasal pressure in adults and children for:
- Assessment of diaphragmatic weakness in patients with neuromuscular disease (NMD)
- Assessment of respiratory muscle strength in patients being treated for respiratory diseases such as COPD
- Monitoring of response to respiratory muscle training
The Pneumotrac with RMS includes:
- MIP/MEP sensor
- Spirotrac 6 Software
- Protective cover for transport
- USB cable
