To protect patients and personnel, highly effective Vitalograph BVF™ bacterial-viral filters with an efficiency of 99.999% are used. This ensures you work safely according to current hygiene standards and expert recommendations from national and European professional societies. You also benefit from very low test costs per patient, as no additional disposable items such as adapters, breathing tubes, or other mouthpieces are required.
Tests are performed via a high-resolution 7-inch touchscreen with an intuitive user interface in accordance with the current ATS/ERS-2019 spirometry standard. Feedback on test quality, GLI predicted values, Z-score, LLN, and %predicted values provide the basis for accurate results and reliable diagnoses according to international standards.
The included Vitalograph Connect software enables direct integration of the spirometer into your practice software. You can easily transfer patient data from the patient file to the ALPHA Connect with a click and start the measurement immediately. The spirometer then automatically writes the measurement results, interpretations, and PDF reports with curves back into the patient file. This saves time and avoids errors from manual entries. Alternatively, after the test, you can use the also included Vitalograph Device Studio software to create a PDF report with all results and curves at the touch of a button and save it in the archive module of your practice software.
