Trypticase Soy Agar II (TSA) with 5% sheep blood is a nutrient-rich non-selective medium for the isolation and cultivation of fastidious and non-fastidious microorganisms.
It also allows the growth and beta-hemolysis of hemolytic streptococci and other organisms, making it suitable for performing the CAMP test.
