Red litmus paper strips, 10 x 20 pieces (100 x 20 pcs.)
The red litmus paper strips are ideal for the rapid determination of acidic and alkaline reactions in the pH range of 5 to 8. The paper comes in practical booklets of 20 strips, so you can simply tear off the required number of strips to test your samples. Red litmus paper is a simple, fully impregnated indicator paper that does not allow for exact pH determinations, but only pH adjustments in certain chemical reactions. For this reason, no color chart is included with the pack. The color of the paper changes from red to blue when the sample conditions change from acidic to alkaline. In neutralization reactions, it is the best-known indicator paper for determining whether the switch from alkaline to acidic or vice versa has occurred. The red litmus paper strips are supplied as a pack of 10 booklets with 20 strips each. Red litmus paper is also supplied in a 5-meter dispenser roll.
