The "No-Scalpel Vasectomy" (NSV) is a technique that originated in China
and reached Europe via the USA.
In a no-scalpel vasectomy, as with conventional procedures for safe
sterilization, both vas deferens are completely severed. However, this is a
minimally invasive procedure for use in a urological practice.
Three special instruments are required to perform an NSV: 1x Ring Clamp
1x Pointed Forceps 1x Mini Hook.
For a minimally invasive vasectomy, scissors, a thread (e.g. Vicryl 3-0) and the possibility
of thermic hemostasis are also required.
The medical product No-Scalpel Vasectomy: Ring Clamp 14cm, 4.7mm has been awarded the green AUROSAN seal because it is reusable and thus avoids the use of disposable items and the generation of large amounts of waste.
