The "No-Scalpel Vasectomy" (NSV) is a technique that originated in China
and has made its way to Europe via the USA.
With no-scalpel vasectomy, as with conventional procedures for safe
sterilisation, both vas deferens are completely severed, however, this is
a minimally invasive procedure for use in urological practice.
Three special instruments are required for performing NSV: 1x ring clamp
1x pointed forceps 1x mini hook.
For a minimally invasive vasectomy, scissors, a suture (e.g. Vicryl 3-0) and the possibility
of diathermic hemostasis are also required.
