MacConkey/Columbia CNA Biplate Agar - 20 pcs.

MacConkey II Agar is a selective differential medium for the isolation and differentiation of Enterobacterales and various other gram-negative rods. Columbia CNA Agar with 5% Sheep Blood is a selective medium for the isolation of gram-positive microorganisms from a variety of clinical and non-clinical materials.

When selecting media, it should always be considered that gram-negative or gram-positive bacteria may also show atypical growth behavior due to certain resistances.

For the isolation and differentiation of molds/yeasts, we recommend separate cultivation on e.g. Sabouraud G/C and differentiation using Candifast®.
