The catheters offer good wearing comfort, excellent tissue compatibility, and a low tendency to encrustation due to 100% silicone. They are equipped with an integral balloon, meaning the shaft has no caliber jump. This prevents painful compression of the fascia during insertion. The tip is short and centrally open. An X-ray contrast stripe is located on the catheter for radiological visualization. Additionally, these are MRI-compatible.
