The catheters offer good wearing comfort, excellent tissue compatibility, and a low encrustation tendency due to being made of 100% silicone. They are equipped with an integral balloon, meaning the shaft has no change in caliber. This prevents painful compressions of the fascia during insertion. The tip is short and centrally open. For radiological visualization, there is an X-ray contrast stripe on the catheter. Furthermore, these are MRI-compatible.
