The suprapubic BlueCath 2-way integral balloon catheter is made of 100% silicone. It is equipped with an integral balloon. For secure fixation of the catheters in the bladder, we recommend our blocker syringe with ten percent glycerin solution.
The BlueCath silicone catheters can remain in place during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); a re-dressing is not necessary, as the high-quality silicone material is MRI-compatible.
