The blue litmus paper roll measures 5m (length) x 6mm (width) and is supplied in a refillable plastic dispenser, ensuring the long-term stability of the litmus paper by protecting it from many external contaminants. Blue litmus paper is a simple, fully impregnated indicator paper that does not allow for exact pH determinations but only pH adjustments in certain chemical reactions. For this reason, no color chart is included with the dispenser roll. The color of the paper changes from blue to red when the sample conditions change from alkaline to acidic. In neutralization reactions, it is the most well-known indicator paper to determine whether the change from acidic to alkaline or vice versa has occurred.
