APEX Originality Cap, natural, non-sterile (1000 pcs)
Ideal for all applications requiring a tamper-evident seal, the Alpha Laboratories range of APEX® "Tamper-Evident" screw cap microcentrifuge tubes also offers a variety of advantages for use in your laboratory. They are ideal for freezer storage, boiling, centrifuging, etc., and fit most standard microcentrifuge rotors. When the cap is screwed onto the tube, the tamper-evident sealing ring is automatically engaged. Upon unscrewing, the ring detaches from the cap and remains in position, clearly indicating that the tube has been opened. Both the caps and tubes are made from the same durable polypropylene, allowing them to expand and contract at the same rate, thus providing an optimal and reliable seal.
These caps can be purchased separately from the tubes if additional caps are required.
