APEX® White Label microcentrifuge tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing and storage. These versatile and durable skirted base tubes are made from high-clarity medical-grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation up to 17,000 x g.


The APEX® White Label 0.5ml microcentrifuge tube with rim and border features graduations and a large white writing area, and comes supplied sterile with a fitted plug-compatible cap. If additional closures are required, the tubes are compatible with the CP5326 (flat screw cap with O-ring) and CP5325 (plug-compatible screw cap with O-ring) series of caps.

The tubes are also certified RNase, DNase, DNA and pyrogen-free, and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196 °C to +121 °C. Apex White Label tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means both caps and tubes will expand and contract at the same rate in response to temperature changes (e.g. during freezing or thawing), thereby minimising the possibility of leakage. In addition, they have been tested for 95 kPa compliance, making them suitable for sample transport in accordance with UN3373 regulations when combined with appropriate secondary (e.g. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary (e.g. SH1000 or SH1200) packaging.
