96-Well Skirted PCR Plate Natural (10 pc.)

Made of polypropylene and similar to the LW2902 PCR plates, these skirted 96-well PCR plates are thin-walled and designed for rapid thermal transfer. The skirt around the plate provides a bar coding and labelling area, unavailable in other types of plates. They are precision-moulded to ensure well-to-well and plate-to-plate uniformity. Quite superior to polycarbonate plates, they are impermeable to water vapour.

All sealing methods can be used for oil-free operation: domed and flat cap strips, Thermal sealing film and foil and silicone sealing mat. Suitable for use with almost all 96-well cyclers.
An alphanumeric grid helps sample identification. To facilitate orientation, corner at H1 of the plate is cut away. The plate is easy to seal since no cylindrical walls extend above the plate. More economical than using single tubes, it is available in natural colour, red or opaque black or white for luminescence and chemi-luminescence assays.
Easily handled by robotic handling equipment and is ideal with automated pipetting systems.
Packed in tamperproof re-sealable bags of 10 plates.
