90 mm Triple Vent Petri Dish (500 pcs)

Petri dishes are routinely used by microbiologists to culture microorganisms on solid media. These 90mm triple-vent Petri dishes are manufactured from virgin polystyrene in highly polished moulds to ensure the highest level of optical clarity. They are manufactured aseptically under cleanroom conditions (Class 7 ISO14644) to exclude microbiological contamination. Petri dishes are manufactured and tested to BS611 Part 2, which includes strict dimensional controls. The precise dimensions make them compatible with a wide range of automatic plate pourers. Petri dishes have an outside diameter of 89.25mm and a height of 16.2mm. They bear the CE mark according to European Directive 98/79/EC and are intended for in-vitro use only. The triple-vent design of these Petri dishes supports gas exchange and is ideal for short-term work. Triple Vent Petri dishes are supplied in a pack of 500, with inner packs of 20.
