2.0 ml APEX TE SCMCT & conical cap, non-sterile (1000 pcs.)
APEX® Tamper-Evident Microcentrifuge Tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing and storage. These versatile and durable tubes are manufactured from high-clarity, medical-grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation up to 20,000 xg for conical-bottomed tubes and 17,000 xg for skirted tubes.
The APEX® Tamper Evident 1.5ml Conical Bottom Microcentrifuge Tube has no graduations and is supplied with separate caps. Additional tamper-evident caps can be purchased separately as TE5326N. The tubes are also certified RNase, DNase, DNA, and Pyrogen-free and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196°C to +121°C. The tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means that both the caps and tubes will expand and contract at the same rate in response to temperature changes (e.g. freezing or thawing), thereby minimizing the possibility of leakage. Furthermore, they have been tested to be 95kPa compliant, making them suitable for sample transport in accordance with UN3373 regulations when combined with appropriate secondary (e.g. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary (e.g. SH1000 or SH1200) packaging.
