APEX® Soft-Release Microcentrifuge Tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing, and storage. Made of UltraClear® copolymer polypropylene, these versatile and durable conical bottom tubes are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation. The tube features a wide-opening flange making it easy for one-handed opening. The reduced closure resistance of the tubes makes the processing of large sample quantities significantly easier. The APEX® 1.5 mL Conical Bottom, Graduated Flip-Cap Tube is 39.11 mm in height and has an opening with an outer diameter of 10.67 mm and an inner diameter of 9.14 mm. The flip-cap has an outer diameter of 13.21 mm. APEX® Soft-Release Microcentrifuge Tubes are graduated in 100 µL increments for more accurate sample volume estimation and include a frosted writing area for easy labeling. A wide selection of racks is also available for benchtop work or for secure long-term freezer storage of tubes. Tubes can be centrifuged up to 20,000 g. They are autoclavable but not boilable. They can be used in a temperature range of -90 °C to 121 °C. APEX® Soft-Release Microcentrifuge Tubes are certified RNase, DNase, and DNA free.
