APEX® White Label Microcentrifuge Tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing and storage. These versatile and durable skirted base tubes are made from high-clarity medical-grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation of up to 17,000 x g.

The APEX® White Label 1.5ml microcentrifuge tube with an attached rimmed, insert-compatible cap features graduations and a large white writing area and is supplied sterile. The dedicated retained cap features an internal flexible sealing lip to ensure a secure, leak-proof seal even under the most adverse conditions. The lip hugs the tube’s internal wall, preventing the contents from coming into contact with the threads, thereby reducing the risk of sample contamination. If additional closures are required, the tubes are compatible with the CP5326 (flat screw cap with O-ring) and CP5325 (compatible screw cap with O-ring) series closures.

The tubes are also certified RNase, DNase, DNA, and pyrogen-free, and can withstand extreme temperatures of -196°C to +121°C. Apex White Label tubes have been tested for 95 kPa compliance, making them suitable for sample transport under UN3373 regulations when combined with appropriate secondary (e.g., Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary (e.g., SH1000 or SH1200) packaging.
