0.5 ml APEX TE SCMCT Cap-On-Rock sterile (500 pcs)
APEX® Tamper Evident microcentrifuge tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing and storage. These versatile and durable tubes are manufactured from high clarity medical grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation up to 20,000g for conical bottom tubes and 17,000g for skirted tubes.
APEX® Tamper Evident 0.5ml skirted microcentrifuge tubes have no graduation marks and are supplied with the cap loosely fitted so that the tamper-evident seal is undamaged. Additional tamper-evident caps can be purchased separately TE5326NThe tubes are also certified RNase, DNase, DNA and Pyrogen free and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196°C to +121°C. The tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means that both the caps and tubes will expand and contract at the same rate in response to changes in temperature (such as when freezing or thawing), minimising the possibility of leakage. In addition, they have been tested for 95kPa compliance, making them suitable for sample transport under UN3373 regulations when combined with suitable secondary packaging (e.g. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary packaging (e.g. SH1000 or SH1200).
