-The Philips Affiniti 50W is an ultrasound system in the lower premium class and includes software packages that are specially tailored to the requirements of diagnostic ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology.
Key requirements for diagnostic ultrasound include excellent image quality, powerful analysis tools, and intuitive, efficient workflows. Philips ultrasound systems support precise diagnostics and efficient processes from scanning to reporting.
PureWave transducer technology combined with xRes Pro improves tissue depiction, penetration depth, and detail resolution even under difficult examination conditions. Clinical users reported reduced examination effort, significantly improved color sensitivity, and shortened examination times. The systems enable high-quality imaging of simple and complex ovarian cysts, the endometrium, and other gynecological structures.
Quick-Launch presets are available for rapid image optimization. These significantly reduce the number of necessary key presses and shorten the time required for image optimization. For blood flow imaging, Philips uses MicroFlow Imaging High Definition (MFI HD) technology. It was developed to visualize low-volume, low-velocity blood flows in the vascular system of the uterus and ovaries with high resolution, high frame rates, and few artifacts.
With FlexVue and Orthogonal View, three-dimensional datasets can be analyzed quickly and intuitively. Multiple planes can be displayed simultaneously, making it easier to assess anatomy and improving diagnostic certainty. User surveys show high satisfaction with workflow improvement and diagnostic accuracy.
The Flow Viewer complements color Doppler procedures with a three-dimensional-like representation of flow information. This allows vascular structures in the uterus and ovaries to be visualized more effectively and supports clinical interpretation.
Process efficiency is also a focus. The modern user interface reduces movement effort and work steps. Functions such as High Q Auto Doppler, SmartExam protocols, and Next Gen Auto Scan significantly reduce the number of key presses and help to perform examinations faster and more standardized.
With Collaboration Live, doctors and medical professionals can also collaborate securely and remotely. Multiple participants can communicate simultaneously, share screen content, and jointly assess ultrasound examinations. This supports faster diagnosis, higher standardization, and access to clinical expertise regardless of location.
Overall, Philips combines high-quality imaging, innovative analysis tools, efficient workflows, and modern collaboration functions in gynecological ultrasound diagnostics to increase diagnostic certainty and facilitate everyday clinical practice.
Testing of the device is possible in our HMT Sonocenters. We look forward to your call or email at 0351 8382 429 or service@aurosan.de
