Ultrasound System Esaote MyLab™ X1
The MyLab™X1 is a portable, full-featured, full-touchscreen ultrasound system that particularly impresses with its ease of handling and high user-friendliness.
It belongs to the class of so-called POCUS devices (Point of Care Ultrasound System), which is suitable not only for mobile use in practices (home visits, etc.) and clinics (outpatient departments) but also for use in mobile emergency and military medicine.
In a practice setting, POCUS devices are usually used as secondary ultrasound systems. Unlike some wireless or wired handhelds, the X1 is accepted by health insurance companies for billing according to EBM (German Uniform Assessment Standard).
Typical applications for POCUS devices include, for example, the clarification of abdominal pain, status assessment in trauma patients and those with suspected shock or hypotensive conditions of unclear genesis (RUSH including FAST, eFAST protocols), clarification of urinary retention, lung ultrasound (CHEST, pleural sliding, pleural effusions), accompanying ultrasound during the insertion of central lines and during punctures; the detection of venous thrombosis, etc.
The MyLab™X1 is individually configurable (probes, additional clinical applications, presets, measurement protocols, reports) and can be extended with a trolley for semi-mobile settings to up to 3 probe connectors. The easy-to-clean surface ensures uncomplicated disinfection.
Whether for patient-side care, emergencies, physiotherapy, or sports medicine, the variety of available probes and transducers enables a wide range of applications and is tailored to all needs.
