Trichomonas Medium NO2 (24x 5ml)

Trichomonas selective media consist of a modification of the media Bushby and Copp², or Squires and McFadzean³. The medium offers a rich nutrient supply and ideal growth conditions for T. vaginalis. The high content of bovine liver digest lowers the redox potential to optimal values, and horse serum provides growth-promoting and stabilizing substances. Chloramphenicol is added to the medium to suppress bacterial co-flora.
