The Staphyloslide Latex Test Kit (for 100 tests/kit) provides a rapid platform for the identification of Staphylococcus isolates, particularly Staphylococcus aureus, which possesses bound coagulase (clumping factor) and/or Protein A, from other Staphylococcus species.
The Staphyloslide Latex Test Kit uses blue polystyrene latex particles sensitized with fibrinogen and IgG. When Staphylococcus colonies with bound coagulase (clumping factor) and/or Protein A are mixed with the latex reagent, the latex particles strongly agglutinate within 20 seconds.
For use with pure culture primary isolates grown on non-selective media or chromogenic media.

Storage: All kit components should be stored at 2 °C to 8 °C. Reagents stored under these conditions remain stable until the expiry date indicated on the vial label. Do not freeze.
