This irrigation bag is a closed urine drainage system with a filling volume of 4000 ml and a tube length of 120 cm. The attached connector has a special orientation, ensuring a reliable connection to the catheter. Needle-free urine sampling is possible at any time via the connector, preventing needlestick injuries.
The octagonal inner profile of the inflow tube ensures high stability while remaining flexible, thus guaranteeing reliable drainage to the drip chamber in any situation. The drip chamber is equipped with a non-return valve, which reliably prevents urine backflow. This prevents the risk of ascending infections.
The outlet tap can be discreetly stored in the "doghouse" attached to the urine bag. A special counter-bead on the piston of the outlet tap allows for safe handling of the bedside bag. Leaks are thus prevented. Bacteria- and liquid-tight ventilation filters ensure permanent pressure equalization.
In this way, optimal drainage within the system is achieved. The twin hanger with an additional fastening cord allows for secure and correct attachment to various bed rails.
