Warranty regulations for reusable NELLCOR SpO2 sensors
NELLCOR OxiMax sensors for arterial oxygen saturation measurement using pulse oximetry (SpO2) are high-precision optical elements that are subjected to varying degrees of stress depending on the application site and duration. These sensors are consumables for which the statutory warranty provisions apply. Thus, for example, defects and/or damages that are due to normal wear and tear, failure to observe the operating instructions, negligence in handling the product, as well as damage caused by water or force majeure, are excluded from the warranty.
For the NELLCOR SpO2 sensors listed below, the following voluntary warranty regulations also apply for the respective period stated below:
Dura-sensors: DS-100A, D-YS, VetSat 6 months from date of purchase
Oxiband sensors: OXI-A/N, OXI-P/I 3 months from date of purchase
