Silver Nitrate - Potassium Nitrate Caustic Pencil, Length: 115mm
Caustic pencils are proven for the removal of excessive tissue growths (caroluxurians) that can occur in healing skin wounds, e.g. granulation tissue after the placement of transcutaneous catheters or probes. They are also suitable, under medical prescription,
> for the treatment of certain warts,
> for the removal of umbilical cord remnants in newborns, or
> for hemostasis in small superficial wounds.
Application: Moisten the tip of the stick with a few drops of water and dab the area to be treated several times. Allow to act. The treated areas will turn black after a short time and will then be shed by the surrounding tissue over several days. May be applied multiple times as prescribed by a physician.
