Silver Nitrate - Potassium Nitrate Caustic Applicator, Length: 115mm
Caustic applicators are proven for the removal of exuberant granulations (caro luxurians) that can occur in healing skin wounds, e.g., granulation tissue after insertion of percutaneous catheters or probes. They are also suitable, under medical supervision, for
> the treatment of certain warts,
> the removal of umbilical cord remnants in newborns, or
> the stopping of bleeding in small superficial wounds.
Application: Moisten the head of the stick with a few drops of water and dab the area to be treated several times. Allow to work. The treated areas will turn black after a short time and will then be shed from the surrounding tissue over several days. May be applied multiple times as per medical prescription.
