Silver Nitrate - Potassium Nitrate Caustic Pencil, Length: 115mm
The caustic pencils are proven for removing excessive tissue overgrowth (caroluxurians) that can occur in healing skin wounds, e.g., granulation tissue after placement of transcutaneous catheters or probes. By medical prescription, they are also suitable
> for the treatment of certain warts,
> for the removal of umbilical cord remnants in newborns, or
> for stopping bleeding in small superficial wounds.
Application: Moisten the head of the stick with a few drops of water and dab the area to be treated several times. Allow to act. The treated areas will turn black after a short time and will then be shed by the surrounding tissue over several days. If necessary, apply several times as directed by a physician.
