Prontosan® Wound Gel X

Due to the special composition of Prontosan® products, the wound surface is thoroughly cleaned, biofilm and debris are removed, and the wound bed is kept permanently moist.

Prontosan® Wound Irrigation Solution and Prontosan® Wound Gel contain polyhexanide for preservation against germ growth and undecylenamidopropyl betaine as a surfactant.

Undecylenamidopropyl betaine is a particularly high-quality surfactant with excellent cleaning power and good skin compatibility.

Polyhexanide effectively inhibits germ growth and serves for preservation after opening the bottle. The particularly effective combination of these two ingredients dissolves biofilm and enables excellent wound cleaning, leading to a significant reduction in wound healing time.

The gel is sterile, fat-free, odorless, and colorless.
Application is painless.

Woundgel X has a higher viscosity compared to the regular Woundgel, so it adheres well even in difficult areas.
