Prontosan® Wound Gel X

Due to the special composition of Prontosan® products, the wound surface is thoroughly cleaned, biofilm and debris are removed, and the wound bed is kept permanently moist.

Prontosan® Wound Irrigation Solution and Prontosan® Wound Gel contain polyhexanide for preservation against germ growth and undecylenamidopropyl betaine as a surfactant.

Undecylenamidopropyl betaine is a particularly high-quality surfactant with excellent cleaning properties and good skin tolerability.

Polyhexanide effectively inhibits germ growth and serves as a preservative after opening the bottle. The particularly effective combination of these two ingredients dissolves biofilm and enables excellent wound cleaning, which leads to a significant reduction in wound healing time.

The gel is sterile, fat-free, odorless, and colorless.
Application is pain-free.

Compared to the regular Wound Gel, Wound Gel X has an increased viscosity, so it adheres well even in difficult areas.
