These pH indicator strips are ideal for pH determination in the pH 0.3 to pH 2.3 range. The rigid plastic strips measure 85mm (length) x 6mm (width) and feature four separate pH test zones to cover the intended pH range. Each test zone has been infused with a non-bleeding pH indicator compound optimized to prevent solution contamination and enable the measurement of highly alkaline or weakly buffered solutions. When testing pH, the strips produce a permanent color change even when left in place, for example, when testing low ionic strength solutions. An instant result is obtained by color matching the four test zones to the included pH color chart. The pH color chart accurately matches both the color and position of the pads on the strips. Results are easy to interpret and can be reliably determined as the pH graduations are in 0.3 increments. The pH indicator strips are suitable for many applications, both in the lab and in the field. They have an advantage over other pH measurement methods in that they do not require additional equipment compared to liquid test kits and digital meters.
