Scope of testing: Cultivation + identification + resistance testing
Mycoview® RT 20 Quantum combines pathogen cultivation (screen), differentiation (ID) and resistance testing (RT) of Mycoplasma hominis species in a simple, practical, and highly reliable test kit.
The working time is approximately 5 minutes per patient sample, and the incubation time is usually 24 hours at 36°C.
The kit contains all the necessary components to perform the test. Only an incubator is additionally required.
Components of the test kit:
- 20 bottles of transport medium (2 ml each)
- 10 packs of RT Twin test strips (containing 2 test strips with 12 wells each, breakable)
- 2 bottles with 6.5 ml paraffin oil, 20 pipette tips, 20 swabs
