Scope of testing: Cultivation + Identification + Resistance testing
Mycoview® RT 20 Quantum combines the pathogen cultivation (Screen), differentiation (ID), and resistance testing (RT) of Mycoplasma hominis species in one simple, practical, and highly reliable test kit.
The workload is approximately 5 min. per patient sample, with an incubation period of typically 24h at 36°C.
The kit contains all necessary components to perform the test. Only an incubator is additionally required.
Components of the test kit:
- 20 bottles of transport medium (2 ml each)
- 10 packs of RT Twin test strips (containing 2 test strips with 12 wells each, breakable)
- 2 bottles with 6.5 ml paraffin oil, 20 pipette tips, 20 swabs
Mycoview® RT racks are recommended for better handling of the samples.
