Mueller-Hinton Fastidious Agar is used for antimicrobial susceptibility testing of clinical isolates of fastidious organisms, as standardized by the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST). This medium consists of Mueller-Hinton Agar supplemented with 5% mechanically defibrinated horse blood and 20 mg/L ß-NAD.
