APEX® White Label microcentrifuge tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing, and storage. These versatile and durable conical bottom tubes are made from medical-grade, high-clarity polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation up to 20,000 x g.
The APEX® White Label 1.5ml conical microcentrifuge tube features graduations and a large white writing area, and is supplied sterile with a fitted insert-compatible cap. If additional closures are needed, the tubes are compatible with CP5326 (flat-top O-ring screw cap) and CP5325 (insert-compatible O-ring screw cap) series closures.
The tubes are also certified free from RNase, DNase, DNA, and pyrogens and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196°C to +121°C. Apex White Label tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means that both the caps and tubes expand and contract at the same rate in response to changes in temperature (e.g. during freezing or thawing), minimizing the possibility of leakage. In addition, they have been 95 kPa compliance tested, making them suitable for sample transport under UN3373 regulations, when combined with appropriate secondary (e.g. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS, and SH1300SS) and tertiary (e.g. SH1000 or SH1200) packaging.
