Microbank™ - Box of 80 mixed color tubes

Microbank™ is ideal for long-term storage of bacteria and fungal isolates.
Each Microbank™ tube contains approximately 25 sterile colored beads embedded in cryopreservative. The porous surface of the beads allows microorganisms to adhere well after inoculation.
For longer storage, inoculated Microbank™ tubes should be stored at -70°C.
For recultivation, a single bead can be easily removed from the tube and used directly to inoculate a suitable culture medium.
