Microbank™ - Box of 80 mixed color tubes

The Microbank™ is ideally suited for long-term storage of bacteria and fungal isolates.
Each Microbank™ tube contains approximately 25 sterile colored beads embedded in a cryopreservative. The porous surface of the beads allows microorganisms to adhere well after inoculation.
For longer storage, the inoculated Microbank™ tubes should be kept at -70°C.
For recultivation, a single bead can be easily removed from the tube and used directly to inoculate a suitable culture medium.
