The scope of delivery includes the battery, adult electrode pads and a carrying bag.
The device instruction required in Germany according to MPBetreibV § 10 Abs. 1 is not included in the purchase price.
Info: In Germany, defibrillators are subject to the Medical Device Operator Ordinance, the MPBetreibV. Accordingly, in Germany, a defibrillator may only be operated if the necessary authorization has been granted (to be read in MPBetreibV § 10 Abs. 1). This authorization is regulated in Germany by a "device instruction", which may only be carried out by the manufacturer himself or by a person authorized by him.
During the instruction, the following happens:
- The defibrillator is subjected to a functional test at the site and put into operation;
- Instruction, testing and documentation on the proper handling, application and maintenance of the defibrillator.
The instruction obligation only applies if
- You already own an identical defibrillator (same manufacturer & same model); or
- The defibrillator is intended for a private household and is not made available to other persons.
Please note that it is your duty as the operator and not that of the supplier to have such an instruction carried out before initial commissioning.
You can also find suitable accessories such as battery, electrode pads, wall mounts and limb electrodes.
The safety technical control (STK) in 2-year intervals, which has been mandatory for most defibrillators in Germany since 01.01.2017, is not included in the purchase price.
