The maternal pulse transducer for the PHILIPS Avalon FM20 is used for the precise detection and monitoring of the mother's heart rate during pregnancy and childbirth. In combination with the Avalon monitoring system, the sensor supports the safe differentiation between maternal and fetal heart rate and thus contributes to reliable patient monitoring.

Thanks to its high signal quality, the pulse transducer enables continuous and stable measurement of the maternal heart rate, even during longer monitoring periods. The robust design was specially developed for professional use in delivery rooms, maternity wards and gynaecological facilities.
