The Comfort catheter placement set (formerly "Female Type") is intended for the removal and reinsertion of a transurethral catheter.
The set consists of an outer and an inner packaging:
The outer packaging contains 1 sterile 10ml syringe for unblocking an existing catheter and 15ml of Octenisept for mucous membrane disinfection.
The inner packaging contains the necessary items for the reinsertion of a transurethral catheter: 1 kidney dish, 2 underpads, 1 fenestrated drape, 1 swab dish, 6 swabs, 1 pair of forceps, 1 blocker syringe with 10 ml of 10% glycerin in water, 3 nitrile gloves.
