Calibration Pump 3 Liter Vitalograph

As part of a quality management system, documentation of measurement accuracy can become relevant. International spirometry standards such as ATS/ERS therefore recommend a daily check of the measurement accuracy of all spirometers, regardless of the manufacturer.

Modern spirometers should be able to be checked according to international standards, but not necessarily on a daily basis.
An accuracy check using a 3-liter calibration pump is recommended:

- According to the individual specifications of the operator within their (practice) quality management system regarding frequency and necessity
- As part of the recommended annual maintenance
- After cleaning or disassembly of the spirometer, regardless of the reason
- After a change in calibration
- If the measurement head has been dropped

- Of course, the pump can also be used with devices from other manufacturers. An adapter may be required for this.
