The HEINE Otoscope combines precise diagnostics with high flexibility and comfortable handling. The powerful LEDHQ technology, in combination with fiber optics, ensures uniform, bright illumination with true-to-life color reproduction. This renders the ear canal and eardrum with high contrast and in great detail. At the same time, the fiber optics provide an unobstructed view of the examination area.
With the HEINE X CHANGE system, the otoscope can be flexibly adapted to different examination situations. Various lighting options enable, among other things, the medically approved examination of the anterior ocular media and the pupillary reflex, as well as the targeted illumination of deep-seated anatomical structures in the mouth and throat. Two brightness levels are available. The quick switching between the otoscope and lighting options saves valuable time in everyday practice.
The 4.2x magnifier enables particularly high resolution and depth of field thanks to its high-quality optical lens system. This allows even the smallest anatomical structures and foreign bodies to be reliably detected.
With the HEINE X CHANGE system smartphone adapter, digital images can be taken easily. The adapter can be mounted quickly and repeatedly with high precision and flexibly adapted to different smartphone sizes and camera arrangements.
The otoscope also offers high operating comfort during longer examinations. A sturdy aluminum frame, scratch-resistant glass lenses, and a durable housing ensure longevity. The precisely balanced, lightweight design enables both the pen and hammer grips and supports secure one-finger operation. The smoothSURFACE and recessed connections also facilitate hygienic reprocessing. An integrated blower connection enables the pneumatic testing of eardrum mobility.
The smart power supply complements the well-thought-out overall concept: A battery level indicator and the automatic shut-off function support daily use. The device can be conveniently charged via USB-C or using a charging station. The energy-efficient LEDHQ technology enables a long battery life and impresses with a virtually unlimited LED lifespan.
