Although microscopic urinalysis is an important part of laboratory testing, various techniques repeatedly impair accurate results.
Fast-Read 102® is a combination of a slide and coverslips made of high-quality optical material, forming a 10-chamber slide to standardize microscopic urine (sediment) analysis. Due to the high precision of its materials, Fast-Read 102® delivers reproducible test results.
Easy to use:
Use disposable pipettes or disposable pipette tips.
Place a drop of sediment into the recess in the area of an optical chamber. The capillary action of each chamber transports the sediment required for evaluation into the optical area. Any excess remains in the front section and cannot drain off, thereby preventing undesirable contamination.
With the Fast-Read 102®, measurement errors in the evaluation of the urine sediment sample are virtually eliminated. The numbering system effectively prevents sample confusion.
For preparation for the urine sample, it is recommended to concentrate the sediment from 10 ml initial volume to 200 µl in a sediment tube.
Scope of delivery: 1 PU contains 100 slides, each with 10 counting chambers.
