Technical Details
The color plates were developed by an American optometrist named TJ Waggoner. Due to its simple symbols, this is the ideal color vision test for toddlers. Instead of numbers, the symbols consist of geometric shapes and objects from a child's world: circle, square, star, as well as dog, ship, house, and car. This makes the test cards easier to understand, simplifying the testing situation for both the child and the examiner. In just 2 minutes, you will receive information about the test person's color vision. Congenital red-green vision deficiencies can be reliably and quickly identified. However, other color vision weaknesses can also be detected with the color vision test for children.
