The catheters offer good wearing comfort, excellent tissue compatibility, and low encrustation tendency due to 100% silicone. They are equipped with an integral balloon, which means the shaft has no caliber jump. This prevents painful compressions of the fascia during insertion. The tip is short and centrally open. A radiopaque stripe is located on the catheter for radiological imaging. Furthermore, these are MRI-compatible.
