Aquafilter 3G for Producing Demineralized Water

The Euronda Aquafilter 3G easily delivers demineralized water (aqua dem) for RDC, sterilizer, or another device.

It can continuously supply one or two autoclaves (devices) in parallel with demineralized water via the fixed water connection. If the water level drops, the water tank is automatically refilled. Water can also be manually drawn for other purposes at the push of a button.

The quality of the treated water complies with EN 13060 for small sterilizers.

Filter capacity: up to 60l/h / Dimensions: W 39 cm x H 46 cm x D 15 cm / Weight: 7.2 kg (empty) / 8.8 kg (filled) / Installation upright or wall-mounted.

System for low throughput. Alternative systems for high throughput are available.

How the water filter works

Ion exchange principle: Mixed-bed resins in the water filter exchange contaminating ions (e.g., calcium Ca2+, magnesium Mg2+, etc.) for hydrogen (H+) and hydroxide (OH-) ions. This is important for reprocessing, as the exchanged ions are neutral to the sterile goods and the sterilization device. For various laboratory devices, demineralized water prevents scaling and reduces the risk of contamination. Here, the manufacturer's requirements must be strictly observed to avoid jeopardizing warranty claims.

Replacing the mixed-bed resin cartridges is simple and time-saving and is indicated by a control light that shows when the filter performance decreases.
