APEX® White Label microcentrifuge tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing and storage. These versatile and durable skirted base tubes are made from high-clarity, medical-grade polypropylene and are solidly engineered for high-speed centrifugation of up to 17,000 x g.

The APEX® White Label 1.5ml microcentrifuge tube with attached rimmed, insert compatible cap has graduations and a large white writing area and is supplied sterile. If additional closures are required the tubes are compatible with the CP5326 (flat screw cap with O-ring) and CP5325 (rimmed screw cap with O-ring) series of caps.

The tubes are also certified RNase, DNase, DNA and pyrogen-free and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196°C to +121°C. The Apex White Label tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means that both the caps and tubes will expand and contract at the same rate in response to temperature changes (e.g. during freezing or thawing), thereby minimising the possibility of leakage. In addition, they have been tested for 95 kPa compliance and are therefore suitable for sample transport in accordance with UN3373 regulations when combined with appropriate secondary (e.g. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary packaging (e.g. SH1000 or SH1200).
